Sure. Who we give up and how do we resign another $10m+ guy next offseason while needing to extend Nurse+?

They ain't taking Larsson 1-4-1. For 1, defense isnt a major issue for them like it was when we made the deal, and 2, players values have changed just a wee bit since with "Haylor" winning a fairly significant trophy since. 3. What do we do when "Haylor" misses 20 games to injury while paying him $10+m to not have him around?

I'd pass on the Hall train unless for some reason he comes as a UFA (no cost to acquire) and his contract doesn't go longer than 5 years. Spend the 10ish million he'd likely cost on upgrading our middle-6 instead and then build & replace through the draft. A trade, a UFA signing or two and some prospect graduation will have this team looking a whole lot better real fast.

Was the Jurco- Granlund- Russell line as effective as the numbers make it look? As per Natural Stat Trick, they wen 13-1 on-ice Corsi (not keen on the stat, but damn), 8-0 in shots, 5-0 scoring chances and had 3 of the team's 4 high-danger changes.
